Private Label Rights ( PLR ) give the user absolute control over all the content in the article. What does this mean? Simply that you can do anything you wish with the article without worry of infringement of copyright or plagiarism. But you must make some changes in order to call it your own. PLR however, don’t just relate to articles, they also relate to other products which include text, source code, graphics, or anything else that would help you with branding yourself.
PLR products are especially useful for those who have difficulty with creating content or articles of their own. It is also useful for those who don’t have the time to write an article of their own or suffer from a temporary bout of writer’s block. There are 100 different ways in which you can use PLR articles, aside from the ones just mentioned. For instance, if you are creating a new e-book on training your dog, simply get some PLR articles relating to this niche, edit/rewrite to make it your own, and collated all together into an e-book.
You could also use other articles related to this niche as your article marketing campaigns, sales letter, advertisements, you name it. The only limitation there is is your imagination. Just to help you with your imagination listed below are five ways in which you can use PLR…
If you’re PLR happens to be an e-book. Try breaking it down into several modules and creating an e-course on the topic. This is especially effective if you have a larger mailing list. If you should happen to do this, make sure that you spread each e-course over a period of time and that you have a length of time between e-courses. You don’t want to spam your members.
If you can split PLR e-books in modules, suffice it to say that you can also combine them to create a new product. Simply find to, or three e-books that cover the same topic, but with different content, edit them and combine them and you have a new product ready for the market.
Using PLR articles to create a new niche blog or website is another great use for them. Of course you should spend some time with rewriting them so that they become more unique. A good way to find out how many of this one PLR article are just copied and pasted into blogs is by taking the first sentence and doing an exact search through Google on it. I’m sure that you’ll find most PLR articles have been just copied and pasted hundreds if not thousands of times. Does your need for rewriting.
PLR articles are fantastic for e-mail marketing, due to the fact that search engines don’t look at e-mails, and therefore cannot see duplicate content. Simply copy your desired PLR article into your upper responder and you have an instant e-mail to be sent out to your mailing list. By doing this you are giving them quality content, and you are letting them know that your website is alive and kicking. You could monetize these e-mails if you wish, thereby creating an income for yourself as well.
Why not set up a membership site using your PLR content? Whether it be an e-book or individual PLR articles, you would be able to set a membership site up and supply your members with constant content throughout the month. Just be sure that you’re PLR product license allows you to do this.
Absolutely Sally! One thing that I hate seeing when I do an exact word search through Google or other search engine is to find hundreds or thousands of the identical article. Google doesn’t like it either and they will remove copies of the same article from their database, leaving only one or two of the more popular sites hitting the results page.

PLR users should expect to have to tweak and change an article to create unique website content.
